Humility breeds followership

When you come down to people's level and relate with them, they will follow you and adore you as their leader. The majority of people ("A great multitude") are not on a mountain. They are on the ground. These people won't follow you up a mountain. Not everyone is willing to 'Go up a mountain'. In short, only few will. 'Going up a mountain' speaks of personal development. Only leaders are willing to do what it takes to 'go up a mountain' because it requires discipline, dedication, resilience, etc. Leaders possess these attributes in spades.
