Let God lead you (2)

Beloved, in a previous post titled  Let God lead you (1 ), we were  encouraged to submit to the leadership of Jesus this year and this new decade. But maybe, just maybe someone is wondering, why should I let the Lord lead me? Well, I am sure most of us already know the answer to that, and so this will just be a reminder of sort.  Beloved, a great king - who had years of experience being in a position of being led by Jesus - made this historic declaration " The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. " Evidently, in his years of allowing the Lord lead him, he had seen enough to be convinced that as long as he submitted to the leadership of the Lord as his shepherd, he will never be in want. And true to His confession, he didn't just live most of his life in abundance, he lived it as king of a great nation at the time. There was a time before he became king, he and his men were returning from a journey and were so farmished that he went to the temple and he was given...

Let God lead you!

This year and subsequently, let the Lord be your shepherd indeed . Let him lead you! Now, and for the rest of your long life, let Him take your hand and truly be your shepherd. There are rough or crooked places ahead that only He can straighten (Isa 45:2), there are bumps - a few too many - you don't know exist, there are twists and turns that will prove too much for you to handle, there are storms ahead that He already knows and only He has the dexterity to safely navigate. I know you've got great skills and experience to give it a go on your own, and you probably have been doing 'fine' leading yourself year after year. I know you have many successful 'journeys' under your belt to draw experience from; I am sure you have 'a map' of your year; no doubt you probably have a sure bearing of where you want to be by the end of the year and even decade and you trust your "instincts" to guide you along the way; maybe you have the skill-set of...
