Put on the new man

Ephesians 4:22-24 (NKJV) that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. In the previous post put off the old man , we were told that the "old man" is only good for putting off because he is doomed and condemned to die as a consequence of sin (Rom 3:23). This is the reason why we must replace him with the "new man". Who is the new man? He is simply the one who is saved. Obviously, the "new man" is not born through vaginal delivery or anything of such; you don't need to enter a second time into your mother's womb to be reborn a "new man" as Jesus assured Nicodemus (John 3:4-6).
