God's word is eternal.
Mark 13:31 (KJV)
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
It's funny how some people want you to "come to terms with reality" when you tell them what God has said, as if what God has said is no longer relevant today. The only part of the Bible that has become redundant is the law of Moses. Ironically and sadly, that's the part people are most unwilling to let go. Be that as it may, every other part of the Bible is very much relevant in our day and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Tim 3:16 KJV).
People sometimes act and talk like the Bible is outdated, like God didn't envisage the times we are now, as if He is surprised by some of the happenings in our world today. I hate to burst your bubble but there is nothing new under the sun (Eccle 1:9). If you go through the Bible, I am sure you will come to the realization that everything ongoing in our world today - the good and the bad - has happened before. Please recall that God knows the end from the beginning and vice versa. And so, He has given an eternal word to guide the affairs of men for as long as the earth remains.
Therefore, what God has said, as found in the pages of scripture, is still very much relevant for our world today and will still be relevant in the future to come. What God has said, He is still saying, and will still say. There is nothing anachronistic or antiquated about God's way of doing things as clearly established in Scriptures. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but His words remain eternal (Mark 13:31). Times and seasons may change, but His Word will not change. Hence, the Bible is and remains eternally significant. You will do well to have that in mind always.
Finally, it is these very same words - God's words - that created everything we see, so if the created is still very much useful why will the creator become antediluvian and valueless? God's word still remains His powerful instrument to bring about transformation in the lives of people. God bless you.
