Activate God's power with faith!

Luke 1:34 
Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” (NKJV)
Mary asked the angel, “How can this happen, since I have not had relations with a man?” (ISV)

When the angel Gabriel visited Mary with the awesome words of Jesus' conception, she asked a very interesting question out of wonder "How can this happen...?" I find this question intriguing because even though she was a virgin, she was engaged to Joseph who she was going to be married to shortly. So, it would have been expected that she would think that the conception of Jesus would happen when she got married and 'knew' Joseph. In addition, considering that the angel said "...the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David" (Luke 1:32), she probably would have known that King David was an ancestor of the man she was engaged to and thought Jesus would be conceived from their union. This would have been the easy, if not normal, reasoning. However, that wasn't the case. If it was, she wouldn't have asked the question. 
So, what was her rationale behind the question?
Beloved, I strongly believe that she got a revelation that what the angel said to her was imminent; that it was going to happen right away, immediately or almost immediately. And then she thought, "I have not had any sex ever or lately, so how would I conceive?" Her question was about the conception. She believed what the angel said though she couldn't wrap her head around how it was going to happen. She wanted to understand it hence she asked. It was a very sincere question. And her reasoning proved to be spot on because she conceived the same month the angel visited. It was probably the same day or minute she said "...Let it be to me according to your word.”  (Luke 1:38). Elizabeth, whom she visited not long after the angel's visit, affirmed that she was already pregnant (Luke 1:42).

Friends, this is a typical example of Faith. Faith is a "now" thing. You have to believe that what God says to you is happening right now (in the physical). The bible says in Heb 11:1 "Now, faith is....". When you are sick and you remember "By His stripes, we are healed" (Isa 53:5), you have to believe your healing is manifesting right now! When you have no money and you receive God's word "...He became poor, that you....might become rich" (2 Cor 8:9), you have to believe money is coming to you right away! And when you are in need and you remember "The Lord shall supply all your need..." (Phil 4:19), you have to believe that supply is coming immediately! Everything God says, He's already done in the realm of the spirit. You have to believe that the manifestation of His word relating to your circumstance is happening right away! 

Furthermore, it was a very good question Mary asked. She thought she needed "a man". She hadn't had any sexaul relations with any man and of course she knew that from the natural standpoint, there was no way she was going to conceive without sexual intercourse. But little did she know that there was nothing natural or ordinary about the child she was going to conceive and that only supernatural means could bring about His conception. So, the angel explained to her how Jesus would be conceived; that "the power of the Highest" will overshadow her and bring about the conception. 
Friends, you may have a preconceived program or order of events in your life like Mary did, and from the natural, you may be right. You may have an expected sequence of how things are supposed to happen. But God's ways are not man's ways. His ways are infinitely higher than ours (Isa 55:8-9). Mary believed her conception was imminent, but she thought there had to be intercourse before conception; however, she conceived without intercourse. You may think something has to happen first before another, and because the former hasn't happened, you think the latter is impossible. May I remind you that with God nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37). Who said you needed a surgery to be cured of that ailment? Who said you needed to submit an application and undergo an interview to get your dream job? Who said you needed a certificate to get employment? Who said you can't conceive after menopause? All you need is the awesome power of Jesus! You may not 'have or know any man', but you have Jesus. He's all you need! 
Finally friends, it's the power of the Highest that will bring your dreams, desires, expectations, plans to fulfillment. It's God's power you need for the 'conception' you desire and that power is available to you today, but you need faith to activate it. God bless you!

Rejoice, it's your season of abundance for overflow

Joel 2:23-24 (NKJV) Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God;  For He has given you the former rain faithfully, and He will cause the rain to come down for you — The former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. Give your bread and fish to Jesus!

God is still in the business of multiplying loaves of bread and fishes. But like that little boy did, you have to give it to Him and watch Him multiply i t.  God wants to feed the world with your loaves of bread and fishes. Look around you and you will find that many are hungry and are in need of bread and fishes, and I don't mean this literally only. The world right now is full of gloom and doom, but the solution is with you, in your hands . Give it to Jesus, let Him reach out to people. He will sustain you with it and the world as well. Jesus loves you

On this side of eternity, we sing " Jesus, You're all that matters " and rightly so, He's indeed all that matters and I don't want to get into that right now. We should sing it, again and again and again "He's all that matters".  However, on the other side of eternity, Jesus is singing "you're all that matters to me". The world is failing but God will never fail

Mark 13:31   Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away . Friends, recent happenings in the world emphasizes the need to hold on to God and His Word more than ever before. JESUS came to reveal God's likeness

Colossians 1:15 (NKJV) He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation . God created man in His image and likeness. However, when man sinned, he still had the "image" of God, but lost the "likeness". In other words, he still looked like God but he lost the capacity to display his likeness or similitude to God . Consequently, what became the norm were behaviors that were completely atypical of God. Man took turns to misrepresent God from their distorted perspective of the likeness of God or their inability to replicate how God was really like. Cain killing Abel was a case in point among many others. Annals of the Cross (8)

In previous posts, we were told that the Cross was an eternal and irrevocable statement of  love  and  judgment  by God to man and the devil respectively. We have also been told that the  Cross  has a plethora of associated dividends which are legitimately ours to enjoy now and forever. In addition, we were also told that because of the sacrifice of Christ on the   Cross , God doesn't really have a choice anymore, as it were, He has to bless us. The moment He accepted 'payment' (Jesus' death), He committed Himself to deliver 'the goods'.
